Meet Sarah

I started Pawsh because I couldn't find what I wanted for my own dog. Every groomer I tried was quick — maybe too quick. I'd pick her up and she'd be clean, but she'd also spend the rest of the afternoon hiding under the couch. That's not okay. Grooming shouldn't be something a dog dreads.

I got my Fear Free Certification because I wanted a formal framework for what I already believed: that animals communicate stress, and it's our job to listen. Fear Free training taught me to read the signs early, to slow down when a dog needs it, and to build trust over time so that every visit is a little easier than the last. For a lot of my dogs, the fourth or fifth groom is the best one yet.
